Landscape Copy is an ongoing project based on a found painting that has already been altered by at least two previous artists. Rather than intervening directly onto the original work, I become the third participant by repeatedly recreating the same landscape through different methods and approaches. By continuing this process of copying, the project investigates how an image transforms through repetition, interpretation, and the limitations of translation. Each new version becomes a reflection on the relationship between the original image, the act of copying, and the creation of new meaning.
